Sydney's 4th Birthday Cake

I'm just getting started with this whole "crafting" blog thing and while we are still in the process of taking photos of some of the things we've made, I wanted to get the first post out there ... given that we just finished celebrating Sydney's 4th Birthday, I figured I would post pics of the birthday I made for her as it definitley reflects my "crafty" side :-)

I had her cake all planned out in my mind (based on what she wanted - a My Little Pony Cake) and thought it would be fun to take her to the craft store with me to pick out some of the "accessories" for the cake ... well, that changed the whole design of the cake as soon as she found this "Pony" cake pan :-) So, I went with it and this was the finished product!

Pretty happy with how it turned out :-)

And my Hubby said it was the BEST cake he has ever tasted! Birthday girl requested a Strawberry "Cheesecake" Cake ... can you tell she's the daughter of a Foodie!?! :-)
